Day Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the overall operations of our facility. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards. As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Duties

• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including cleaning work areas and equipment.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Support other team members as needed to ensure project deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction or maintenance is a plus.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
