Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and hair extension services that meet client expectations.
- Perform skincare treatments such as dermabrasion, dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatments, and body waxing with precision and care.
- Deliver makeup applications for special occasions and provide consultations on color theory and product choices.
- Conduct advanced cosmetic procedures including botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, eyelash extensions, tattooing, and med spa services.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to all health regulations and cleaning protocols.
- Manage guest interactions from front desk check-in to personalized consultations, ensuring excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Utilize salon management software like Millennium and MINDBODY for scheduling, client records, and retail sales tracking.
- Promote retail products through demos and upselling techniques to enhance client results and increase sales revenue.
- Manage social media accounts to showcase services, engage with clients, and grow the salon’s online presence.
- Stay current with industry trends in hair threading, straight razor shaving, nail care, massage therapy, and other beauty innovations.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license with comprehensive knowledge of hair styling, coloring, nail care, and skincare treatments.
- Experience with advanced procedures such as Botox injections, dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatments, tattooing, or body waxing is highly preferred.
- Strong management skills to coordinate appointments efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Familiarity with salon software including Millennium and MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
- Excellent communication skills to educate clients on treatment options and product benefits effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in social media management to promote services and engage with the community online.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices aligned with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Passion for continuous learning in areas like color theory, hair extensions, lash extensions, barbering techniques, massage therapy, and other beauty specialties.
