Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time Real Estate Paralegal position based in Augusta, GA. The Real Estate Paralegal will assist attorneys with all aspects of real estate transactions, from initial contract review to post-closing documentation. Responsibilities include preparing legal documents, performing due diligence, reviewing title commitments, working with title insurance, and coordinating with clients, lenders, and other parties to ensure smooth transactions. Additional duties may include drafting lease documents and assisting with commercial real estate transactions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing legal documents related to real estate law
- Experience with due diligence and title commitments
- Knowledge of title insurance and its application within real estate transactions
- Familiarity with drafting and reviewing leases and commercial real estate agreements
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site office environment
- Paralegal certification or equivalent education is preferred
- Prior experience in a law firm or real estate setting is advantageous
