About the Role: Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse
As an RN, you’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Edgewater in West Des Moines.
As a Assisted Living RN/LPN, you will:
- Support the Director of Nursing in managing the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring nursing policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to enhance professional development.
- Participate in the creation and execution of individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and assist in implementing quality improvement initiatives to improve resident care and satisfaction.
- Help manage staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of nursing resources.
- Address resident and family concerns, facilitating effective communication and ensuring a compassionate care environment.
Open Shifts Available:

Four 9-hour shifts, and every other weekend
-
Four 8-hour shifts (Full-Time), Phone support every other weekend
Qualifications:
- Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to serve others
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- State of Iowa RN/LPN
