Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Childcare Providers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for engaging children in educational activities, ensuring their safety, and supporting their emotional and social development.
Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
- Assist with behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among children.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that promotes respect and understanding among peers.
- Document daily activities and milestones in children's development.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages.
- First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Strong skills in teaching and engaging children through play-based learning.
- Experience in behavior management techniques to support positive child interactions.
- Ability to provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
- Familiarity with caregiving practices that support the needs of children with disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
