Key Responsibilities
- General Maintenance: Perform routine repairs including plumbing (leaky faucets, toilet clogs), electrical (bulb replacement, outlet repair), HVAC troubleshooting, and basic carpentry.
- Unit Turns: Efficiently prep vacant apartments for new residents, including painting, flooring repairs, and deep cleaning.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of common areas and mechanical rooms to catch issues.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain the property to meet local housing authority and HUD standards. Ensure all fire codes and safety regulations are strictly followed.
- Emergency Response: Availability for after-hours emergencies.
- Resident Relations: Interact with senior residents with patience and respect, often entering their homes to perform repairs while ensuring their comfort and privacy.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Minimum 3 years of Maintenance Experience
- HVAC certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Driver’s License
Salary : $17 - $19
