Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Key West, FL. The Family Support Specialist will work directly with families to assess their needs, coordinate services, and create individualized plans to promote safety and well-being. Responsibilities include case management, conducting home visits, providing resource referrals, and facilitating access to community support services. The specialist will also collaborate with social service agencies and other community partners to strengthen family dynamics and support systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in Family Services and managing family-focused care programs
- Strong Case Management and Community Outreach skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of local community resources in Monroe County preferred
- Capacity to work on-site and conduct regular home visits in the Key West, FL area
- High School or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field required
- Familiarity with trauma-informed practices is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
