Position Summary
The Activities Specialist design and lead programs that engage residents physically, mentally, and socially. If you love making people smile, this is the role for you!
Essential Duties
- Plan, organize, and lead engaging group and individual activities (games, arts & crafts, fitness, music, outings, etc.)
- Encourage resident participation and adapt programs to meet diverse needs
- Build warm, positive relationships with residents and families
- Collaborate with the Life Enrichment team to enhance resident wellness
- Experience in recreation, activities, or therapeutic programming preferred
- Creative, energetic, and compassionate personality
- Ability to motivate and engage older adults in fun and meaningful activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, or related field.
- CTRS or equivalent preferred; position specific certification required
