Duties
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum that for ELA and math.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
- Foster a safe, nurturing environment that prioritizes child welfare, childcare best practices, and classroom safety protocols.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to monitor student progress and communicate developmental milestones.
Qualifications
- Lead teachers are required to have a degree in an education field or be currently enrolled in a college level education degree program. Assistants are not required to have a degree, just experience.
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or school environments.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and early intervention methods.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.
- Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management strategies for diverse learners.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and team members.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for students while maintaining a structured learning environment. Schedule
Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30-3:30 or Monday-Thursday 8:30-3:30
Non paid fall break, Christmas break, spring break, and summer break similar to Bradley County School Schedule.
