What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Manager / Health & Rehab Center / Full Time position at WESLEY COMMONS?
The RN Manager assists in managing and directing the department of nursing at the Health and Rehabilitation Center to ensure all residents have the medical care they require and manages our Wound Care Program. This position is responsible for the utilization of professional nursing knowledge and skills in rendering nursing care. This includes conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures and established standards based on the scope of registered nursing under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications:- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or Registered Nurse degree from an accredited school of nursing and licensed by the State of South Carolina.
- Must have experience in Wound Care.
- Three to five years’ experience in nurse management and one to three years’ experience in long-term health care.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current RN license and in good standing with the South Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Cognitive skills as related to the position.
