Time Off & Holidays

• We offer a combined paid time off (PTO) policy which incorporates state paid sick leave with company paid time off at an accrual rate of 0.0607 per hour worked, equivalent to 120 hours of PTO at 2,080 hours worked in a year. The PTO accrual rate increases after two years of service and again after five years of service.
• We offer 6 Paid Holidays (8 hours - full time, 6 hours - part-time per event, excluding on-call staff) and 1 Personal Holiday of Choice per year (excluding on-call staff).

The Director of Resident Engagement will be responsible for administering ongoing recreation, cultural arts, hobbies, events, and other health and social programs for residents on campus. This role also oversees and manages volunteers.

What you’ll do

• Plan and implement overall recreation programs for Campus residents.
• Design programs to encourage socialization, provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment, and improve daily living, plus physical skills. 
• Oversight of Resident Engagement team and volunteers. 
• Learn and apply Company, Federal, State, and local rules, regulations, and policies.

What you’ll need

• Professional certification (i.e. Activity Professional, Advanced Activity Professional, Activity Director Certified, Activity Consultant Certified, etc.)
• Washington State Food Worker Card within 14 days of hire
• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
• Ability to understand and communicate in the English language

Salary Range: $29.95 to $43.16 per hour
