Warehouse Fulfillment Supervisor

We Ship Express is a growing warehousing, fulfillment, and logistics company with nationwide operations, specializing in the distribution of wine, spirits, and beer. We are currently seeking a full-time Fulfillment Supervisor to join our Napa, CA team.

The Fulfillment Supervisor oversees daily warehouse fulfillment operations, ensuring orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with customer expectations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for key accounts, maintaining strong customer relationships through regular communication, proactive problem-solving, and timely resolution of inquiries.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and experienced in leading warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Duties And Responsibilities Include

• Supervises warehouse staff and assigns daily work to ensure operational efficiency and quality
• Maintains strict quality control and safety standards throughout the fulfillment and packaging process
• Ensures all orders are fulfilled accurately, on-time, and in-full; reviews and prioritizes orders for picking and shipping
• Serves as the main point of contact for customer inquiries related to fulfillment operations
• Prepares daily account status recaps for customers and internal partners
• Communicates effectively with operations, sales, and customers regarding fulfillment timelines and challenges
• Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and proactively proposes solutions
• Manages inventory through system knowledge and oversight of physical storage, condition, and organization of products
• Supervises inventory control functions including check-in/check-out, settlement, and reconciliation
• Implements and maintains cycle count processes to ensure accurate inventory levels and investigates discrepancies
• Coordinates personnel matters with the Warehouse Manager, including staffing, scheduling, overtime, training, and performance support
• Develops warehouse employees on systems, SOPs, and independent task execution
• Prepares required reports and administrative documentation
• Supports the development and enforcement of policies and procedures
• Resolves warehouse-related issues with other departments
• Ensures a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment; maintains safety training and programs
• Leads by example and assists with order fulfillment as needed to meet deadlines
• Performs other duties or project assignments as required to support customer needs and company success
  
  

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly supervises warehouse staff
• Trains, plans, assigns, and directs work
• Evaluates performance, rewards and disciplines employees
• Addresses complaints and resolves issues in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong inventory control skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices
• Certification on all motorized warehouse equipment (or ability to obtain)
• Demonstrated leadership and team motivation skills
• Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Continuous improvement mindset with adaptability and willingness to learn
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
• Proficiency with WMS and other warehouse software
• Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels
• Good judgment with timely and sound decision-making skills
• Bilingual skills a plus
• Ability to understand and follow all safety requirements

Experience

• Two to four years related experience or equivalent, preferably in warehouse fulfillment or logistics
• Experience within wine, spirits, or beverage distribution environments a plus
