Position Summary
The Senior Card Services Analyst leads strategic projects for the team, including, but not limited to:
Thought partner on development of new initiatives and products, and optimization of existing products and services
Project planning and participation
Development and refining of reports, including recurring distribution
Testing and validations of card processing software implementations and promotions
Acting as a point of contact for Card Services related to cross-functional initiatives across the organization
Researching and resolving card related system issues
Essential Position Functions
Support Card Services’ products, services and goals
Participate in the development, testing and validation of Card Services promotional programs
Serve as a liaison and subject matter expert for Card Services systems, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, IT, and third-party support
Lead card-related projects, process improvements, and modernization
Develop recurring and ad-hoc reports, perform research and financial analysis including forecasting and tracking of KPIs
Provide advanced operational and technical support, including troubleshooting issues, managing user access, and supporting instant issue and rewards platforms
Oversee key operational functions such as inventory planning, training materials, business rules
Performs other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, Skills And Abilities
Associate Arts, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in card operations including card systems support experience
Ability to analyze and compile data
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
Maintain a positive, professional attitude with leadership presence
Collaborate effectively with peers to navigate complex business challenges
Strong organizational effectiveness and communication skills
Strong technical background in instant issue card operations. Strong knowledge of back-office credit card operations, Visa/MasterCard operating regulations, and fraud detection and prevention procedures.
Preferred proficiency in writing DataChoice queries, and performing updates in Fiserv PCF and DMM tables
Computer Skills
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, as well as technical aptitude for applications such as PCF, Data Choice, SpendTrend, First Data, Symitar, and all systems required to perform the job.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
