Are you a strategic supply chain leader who thrives on balancing inventory, production schedules, and customer commitments? Do you have a passion for driving operational excellence, improving material flow, and leading high-performing teams?


We're seeking a local to North Wales, PA Manager, Materials to oversee all aspects of materials management, inventory control, production planning, and scheduling within our manufacturing operation. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for ensuring material availability, optimizing inventory investment, and driving on-time delivery performance. We are looking for a candidate in the North Wales, PA area.


What You'll Do -


As the Manager, Materials, you will:

βœ… Lead materials planning, forecasting, inventory control, and production scheduling activities

βœ… Develop and maintain short- and long-range inventory plans for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods

βœ… Oversee Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes

βœ… Coordinate supplier releases to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations

βœ… Monitor production capacity and recommend solutions to support changing customer demand

βœ… Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, FIFO processes, and inventory control best practices

βœ… Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and Engineering teams to optimize performance

βœ… Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory, delivery, scheduling, and materials management

βœ… Lead continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM)

βœ… Develop, coach, and mentor a team of materials, planning, and inventory professionals


What We're Looking For -


Required Qualifications

βœ” Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field

βœ” 5 years of progressive experience in:

  • Manufacturing
  • Materials Management
  • Production Planning & Scheduling
  • Inventory Control
  • Supply Chain Operations
  • Manufacturing Environments

βœ” 3 years of leadership experience managing teams

βœ” Strong understanding of:

  • MRP Systems
  • Capacity Planning
  • Inventory Management
  • Forecasting & Demand Planning
  • Supplier Management

βœ” Experience working cross-functionally to achieve operational objectives


Preferred Qualifications -


⭐ APICS Certification (CPIM, CSCP) or CPSM

⭐ ERP experience, particularly in LN and JD Edwards

⭐ Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or Continuous Improvement experience

⭐ Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities

⭐ Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations
