As a Surveyor at WES Construction Corp, you will play a crucial role in project execution, partnering closely with the project Superintendents. You will be in charge of accurate site and building layout contributing to successful, on-time projects.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Complete baseline construction surveys
- Provide ongoing survey and layout throughout the duration of multiple construction projects
- Create as-built drawings in AutoCAD
- Complete quantity takeoff and tracking
- Participate in project meetings such as daily huddles and tool box talks
- A strong, knowledge of survey equipment including Total Stations, Data Collectors, GPS
- Experience with site and building layout (e.g. anchor bolts)
- A minimum of 8 years of experience performing construction survey and layout for large ($10M ) commercial construction projects
- A minimum of 5 years using AutoCAD
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willing to commute to Boston and surrounding areas (within 1-1.5 hours of Boston)
