What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ag Equipment Operator position at Wertman Farm?
Manually and mechanically plant, cultivate, and harvest vegetables (cabbage, kale, collards, broccoli, corn, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, pumpkins, summer and fall squash). Use hand and power tools to till, fertilize, transplant, weed, thin, prune, apply pesticides, clean, irrigate, and load produce. Operate, repair, maintain tractors/implements to grow and harvest crops. Mix and apply agrichemicals, maintain fences and buildings.
Sembrar, cultivar, y cosechar manualmente vegetales ( repollos, broccoli, elote, pepinos, berenjena, calabasa, ayote. Utilisa herramientas de mano para harar, abonar, transplantar, deshierbar, podar, aplicar pesticidas, limpiar, regar agua, y cargar producto.
