Role Description The Driver Onboarding and Relations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Omaha, NE. This position is responsible for guiding new drivers through the onboarding process, including document collection, orientation scheduling, policy explanation, and ensuring a smooth transition into Werner’s operations. The Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for drivers, responding to questions, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication between drivers and internal departments such as safety, operations, and HR. Daily activities include maintaining accurate driver records, coordinating training and compliance requirements, and providing clear information on company procedures and expectations. The role also involves monitoring driver feedback, supporting retention initiatives, and helping create a positive, respectful driver experience aligned with Werner’s service standards.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive, professional relationships with drivers and internal teams.
