Job Description
POSITIONS AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT NEBRASKA
General traffic control and flagging activities related to road construction.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Performs traffic control and flagging activities as needed
- Follows safety rules and regulations on all work zone and flagging sites
- Occasionally placing signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices
- Operates company-owned vehicles (not requiring a Commercial Driver’s License)
- Reports safety hazards and traffic problems
- May be asked to do some manual labor such as removing dead animals from the roadway
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License (if driving a company owned vehicle)
- Must be able to work outdoors with possible exposure to inclement weather
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- Experience is not necessary
- Werner Construction will provide Flagger Training
