The hourly wage range Werfen reasonably expects to pay for the position is $22 to $25. Compensation is reasonably based upon multiple factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and specific needs of the business.
Performs inspection and monitoring of all incoming materials that require inspection, including but not limited to packaging, chemicals, subassemblies, mechanical and electrical components. They are inspected in accordance with FDA/GMP requirements and established company SOPs and specifications.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
- Inspects materials and products, for conformance to specifications, using fixed or preset measuring instruments and/or analysis of vendor supplied documentation
- Normally pursues a defined course of training to develop professional capabilities and skills in such areas as, but not limited to, GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing), FDA/GMP and SOPs
- Ensures materials and products are in accordance with established tolerance levels for quality and performance and are not irregular or damaged.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works either under a supervision or higher-level inspector
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment
- Inspects of all incoming materials or chemicals
- Collects data and subsequent disposition of goods in SAP
- Placement of Bar Code labels on all in-coming material and the use of Bar Code Reader
- Reading and understanding of drawings or blueprints
- Maintains good general housekeeping in warehouse and inspection area
- At direction of Supervisor or Manager will perform special assignments as necessary
- All other duties as assigned by manager
- To be determined based on department needs
- Must have basic math skills and concepts.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:
- High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing operations role.
