What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Live-In Building Superintendent position at Werber Management?
Live-in Building Superintendent needed for residential apartment building in the vibrant Elmhurst neighborhood near the subway station. The building is a 50-unit elevator building. The position comes with the Super's apartment which is a 1 bedroom. Work hours are part-time and include:
- trash and recycling separation and disposal
- maintaining cleanliness of common areas
- responsiveness to tenant requests
- basic repairs in apartments and in the building
- attending service appointments with vendors on monthly and as needed basis
- reporting to and communicating with the Management Office
- cleaning vacant apartments to prepare them for rental
- showing apartments to prospective tenants
The Building Superintendent is responsible for providing coverage of the building and be available during weekdays for scheduled service appointments. Qualified candidates will have an established background in building maintenance and repairs and excellent customer service.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
