HIRING IMMEDIATELY!!!! GENERAL LABORER
Werab Enterprises is seeking a General Laborer to join our growing company. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting on excavating jobs, operating machinery, a variety of hand and power tools, shoveling of material as well as following all site health and safety regulations. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. CDL A or B is beneficial. If licensed may also drive dump truck or roll off truck. Health insurance is offered after 90 days, vacation after 1 year, paid holidays immediately.
Responsibilities
- Unload tools, prepare site and materials, and set up equipment
- Follow project instructions from the manager or supervisor
- Consult with construction plans
- Direct traffic safely around the construction or road maintenance site if required
- Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
- Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
- Ensure regulated and proper headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing are worn
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Safely operate a variety of tools including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, and blowtorches
- Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials
- Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
- Be able to switch to driving truck if needed, license required
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Clean MVR
- CDL A or B (Beneficial)
- Experience in operating machinery, driving service truck
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be comfortable working in outdoor weather
- Positive attitude and work ethic, punctual
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- Work day is estimated from 7:00-5:00, some Saturdays are required but not typical.
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
