Marriott FSPMS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Task Force Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our team in Nashville, TN. The AGM will play a critical role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the General Manager in driving business success. This position requires strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of hotel operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding guest service and maintain Marriott’s high standards.
- Oversee contract task force initiatives, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Collaborate with department heads to implement operational strategies and improve overall hotel performance.
- Ensure adherence to safety, security, and quality standards throughout the property.
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of staff to build a strong and capable team.
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior management as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in an Assistant General Manager or similar leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a dynamic hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, financial management, and guest service standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Familiarity with Marriott brand standards and operational systems is a plus.
