We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate would have organizational skills, proficiency in various office computer programs, and familiarity with accounting.
A background in legal administrative tasks, with a focus on real estate law is preferred.
As a Real Estate Paralegal, you will play a vital role managing files, helping with legal documents, and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing for closings, client meetings, organizing case files, client communication, and documentation.
- Draft legal documents including deeds, settlement statements, and other closing documents.
- Manage case files using legal case management software to ensure all information is current and accessible.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, attorneys, realtors, and court personnel while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Organize and manage documents through document management systems for easy retrieval.
- Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a paralegal or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in using document management systems and legal case management software preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
