The Peri-Operative / Intake Nurse is an integral part of the nursing team, performing pre-procedure care to the patient, by making pre-operative phone calls to the patients and providing bedside pre-operative care to the patient at the facility. This position assesses both the physical and emotional status of the patient prior to procedure and obtains current patient information to be input into the electronic health record system, as well as care at the bedside on the day of admission, including IV's. This role is diverse as your time will be split between floor care and patient calls.
The Intake Nurse must be:
· Currently licensed to practice in the state of New Hampshire
· Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical (Vocational) Nursing
· CPR Certification required
· Previous experience is desirable, but not necessary.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
