Please note: Based on current market conditions, the minimum starting rate for this position is $35.00 per hour and will increase based on experience.
Per Diem: Mon - Fri with variable hours between 7:00A - 5:00P
Job Summary
Responsible for performing a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography exams.

Essential Functions:
Performs screening and diagnostic mammograms using tomosynthesis and 3D Imaging technology.
Performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
- Position all patients including those with wheelchairs, walkers, or other disabilities during mammographic exam.
- Selects appropriate technical factors to ensure proper exposure.
- Evaluates images for diagnostic quality and obtaining additional images as needed.
- Explains procedures to patients.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Licenses and Credentials Required:
Radiologic Technologist State of NH license
Registered Technologist [R.T. (R)(M) (ARRT)] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Experience
Experience in accordance with state, federal, and regulatory agencies' rules and regulations 2-3 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Needs to be able to recognize needs and behaviors of a variety of age groups of patients treated, understand the differences in female growth and development, and look for signs of normal aging, degree of understanding, and physical limitations related to age.
