What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Process Server - Wilmington, NC and surrounding position at Weno Process?
We have a position open for a reliable and hard working Process Server in New Hanover, Brunswick and Pender Counties.
Experience: Prior process serving experience strongly recommended. Smart phone a must.
Job Duties: Include delivering legal documents to individuals and businesses at their homes or place of business. The guidelines of serving these documents are governed by law; therefore, integrity and attention-to-detail are crucial. It is required that process servers attempt service all hours of the week including weekends. You will need to be able to print documents and the Proofs of Service and be able to complete and notarize same.
Pay: The compensation is typically $35-$60 per successful service.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. You are responsible for your own expenses, and you must provide your own reliable transportation.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, and must be willing to undergo a background check.
