Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cashiering, and transaction management.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring the restaurant meets health standards.
• Assist in food handling tasks such as stocking supplies, food prep, and ensuring proper food storage practices.
• Support team members in various roles including serving customers, food preparation, and kitchen assistance to ensure smooth operations in a quick service environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and quick calculations are important.
• Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of the food industry or restaurant experience will help you excel in this role.
• Culinary experience or kitchen background can be beneficial for understanding food prep procedures.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.43 - $24.60 per hour
