Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service, taking orders accurately and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Handle cash transactions accurately while managing register operations with basic math skills
- Assist with food safety practices including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Support kitchen operations by managing food prep tasks quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Engage in food industry best practices to ensure a safe, welcoming dining experience for all guests
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant flow and excellent service delivery
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting fellow staff during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills are essential for multitasking during peak hours
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail math helps ensure accuracy in transactions and upselling opportunities
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly valued
