Restaurant Maintenance Technician

· Troubleshooting and / or repair of all hot and cold side restaurant equipment.

· Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

· Perform building, HVAC-R, cooking equipment, plumbing, electrical, and repairs as necessary.

· Use phone application for work order requests and completion.

· Respond quickly in the event of an emergency.

· Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.

· Perform all maintenance repair duties safely using industry standard processes.

· Assist in other equipment repair and maintenance projects as assigned.

· Build and manage relationships with third-party vendors.

· Determine the cost effectiveness of outsourcing individual job orders.

What skills do you need?

· Demonstrated proficiency in HVACR, cooking equipment and small appliance repair knowledge and repair skills.

· Demonstrated proficiency in plumbing and electrical work.

· Ability to analyze a situation and decide whether it is best to repair or replace the equipment.

· Able to prioritize and use sound judgment and decision-making.

· Able to work well independently, with minimal supervision.

· Ability to follow defined routines and processes.

Must be available for emergencies.

Are you Qualified?

· EPA certification required.

· Completion of HVAC & Refrigeration Certification program preferred.

· Two to three years’ experience using tools of trade (electrical meter, refrigeration gauges).

· Two to three years of commercial cooking equipment experience.

· Experience in operating small and large maintenance equipment.

· Most work will be in restaurant and surrounding property.

· Must provide own hand tools.

· Must pass a Background Check.

· Maintain a valid driver’s license.

· Ability to work overtime as needed..

• Facilities maintenance: 2-3 years (Required)
• HVAC: 2-3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• EPA Certification (Required)
• HVAC Certification (Preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
