Wendell Foster is interested in hiring an energetic RN or LPN (PRN)for our Intermediate Care Facility to join the team of #DifferenceMakers!

What matters to us:
- Must possess a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
- Possession of valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Currently possess or able to complete first aid and CPR certification (training provided)
- Communicate well with others including staff and our individuals
- Ability to work under supervision and to supervise as needed in areas relating directly to nursing care.
Essential Functions:
· Performs nursing procedures within legal scope of practice and individual training and skill level per physician’s order and facility protocol including, but not limited to:
1. Oral/tracheotomy suctioning and care
2. G-tube care
3. Urinary catheterizations
4. Injections
5. Administration of oral and rectal medications
· Keeps the interdisciplinary team and guardians/family informed of pertinent health information and significant changes in each person’s health conditions in cooperation with the Clinical Manager.
· Makes rounds in assigned cottage(s) to visit each person and assess health status at the beginning of each shift and as needed.
· Administers medications per the Medication administration policies. Initial medications/treatments on M.A.R./T.A.R.
