Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver (Independent Contractor) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting patients safely while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Pick Up Patients once they have been discharged
- Perform route driving to various locations, maintaining punctuality and professionalism at all times.
- Help patient in/out of vehicle
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before each trip.
- Handle patients with care.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
- Maintain a clean vehicle.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is essential.
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple routes efficiently are highly valued.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
