- Patient Assessment: Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, set goals, and create discharge plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Care Provision: Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities to achieve patient goals, and provide ongoing education for patients and families.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge instructions following departmental guidelines.
- Customer Service: Foster a positive environment, apply AIDET principles in patient interactions, and support teamwork among colleagues.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous education and participate in training new staff to maintain high standards of care.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program; Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid Physical Therapist license in Georgia and Basic Life Support certification.
- Skills: Strong communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer proficiency.
