Role Description The Dietitian Clinical Informatics role is a full-time, on-site position based in Austell, GA. This role is responsible for integrating nutrition expertise with clinical information systems to optimize documentation, workflows, and data integrity for nutrition-related care. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with clinicians and IT teams to design, implement, and refine electronic health record (EHR) tools that support dietetic practice and medical nutrition therapy. The Dietitian Clinical Informatics professional will analyze nutrition-related data, develop and maintain standardized templates, order sets, and clinical decision support, and provide training and guidance to dietitians and other care team members on system use. The role also involves participating in quality improvement initiatives, supporting evidence-based nutrition practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications
- Strong clinical nutrition foundation with skills in Dietetics and Nutrition to support evidence-based patient care.
- Competence in patient-facing services such as Nutritional Counseling and Weight Management to guide personalized interventions.
- Experience in Medical Nutrition Therapy to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nutrition care in acute and chronic conditions.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential and state licensure (or eligibility) as required in Georgia.
- Familiarity with clinical informatics, EHR systems, and documentation standards; prior experience with build, optimization, or clinical workflow design is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, including the ability to use metrics to improve nutrition-related outcomes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams, including clinicians, IT professionals, and leadership.
- Ability to work on-site in Austell, GA and adapt to evolving technology, regulatory requirements, and organizational priorities.
