Job Summary
The Compensation Analyst is a visible customer service-oriented position that will perform high-volume, time sensitive, and confidential document review and data entry. The Compensation Analyst will support in conducting salary surveys, examining salary surveys for market changes in salary ranges, interpreting salary data and performing analysis. The Compensation Analyst may also conduct internal equity analysis to ensure fair and equitable pay among team members, review job offers, create market analysis recommendations, and work collaboratively with senior Team Members to support projects and initiatives. The Compensation Analyst may manage bonus programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and tracking payment processes.
The Compensation Analyst will support compensation needs and requests of all areas of human resources at the entity levels and may serve as compensation point-of-contact for clients as needed. In addition, the Compensation Analyst will have an strong sense of urgency, ability to deliver accurate work in a highly complex and fast-paced environment, desire and willingness to provide support to senior Team Members.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and strong analytical skills High
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Powerpoint) High
Communicates effectively, both verbal and written form High

Core Responsibilities And Essential Functions
- Conducts research to understand external market trends and practices and make recommendations to incorporate relevant findings into System practices and compensation structure.
- Prepares reports, evaluations, and other research regarding compliance issues and filings
- Prepares and reviews market survey submissions; partners with external and internal resources as required.
- Conduct comprehensive equity analysis, summarizes information and assists in the development of recommended actions in support of compensation policies and procedures
- Administers the research, consolidation and interpretation of data required by leadership
- Reviews job descriptions to ensure accuracy of job content and qualifications, in alignment with market data. Analyzes positions to determine FLSA classification
- Provide Compensation consulting to partners, clients, and leaders
- Guides facility human resources with compensation related processes; evaluates issues and provides problem resolution; handles compensation interpretations and resolutions.
- Present and provide compensation content and input to partners, clients, and leaders
- Develop a proactive relationship with partners, clients, and leaders in assigned support areas
- Manage bonus programs and maintain tracking audit tools to process payments
- Audits job leveling requirements based on Wellstar policies and procedures
- Performs data analytics, reporting, and auditing of job content
- Process invoices via requisitions and ensure purchase orders are paid in a timely manner
- Provide project management support and analysis in the planning, coordination, administration, and reporting of compensation requests and annual incentive programs
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
- Bachelors Business Administration/Management or Bachelors Human Resources Management or Bachelors Finance
