13-23 week contracts. Will accept 36 or 48hrs with NO OT BILLED UNTIL AFTER 48HRS!!! Accepting contracts up to 20 weeks. FLOATING REQUIRED: Yes, as needed to other ICU's. WEEKEND REQUIRMENT: 2 weekends (4 shifts) every 6 weeks. Ratio: 2:1 ratio flexing to 3:1. This is a 20 bed Neuro ICU within a comprehensive stroke center that cares for various types of Neurological patients. Ideal candidates will have a significant amount of experience with stroke management, ICP management, seizure management, and critical care patient management including titrating drips and invasive equipment. EPIC/PYXIS/SBAR. Required Skills: Vents, IV Start, ICP and Telemetry. Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS and NIH. Preferred CCRN. Minimum experience required: 2 Years. They will take first travelers? Yes. Scrubs: Navy Blue or White or a combination of both. Schedule: Self scheduled, then balanced and changed by unit leadership based on unit needs.
