X-Ray Technologist

Position Overview

The X-Ray Technologist will work in a dynamic healthcare environment, performing imaging procedures and ensuring high-quality patient care. This role involves operating diagnostic imaging equipment and applying clinical skills to provide accurate and timely results.

• Shift: 5x8 hours, Monday to Friday


• Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM


• On-call Requirements: No on-call required, but may be asked to help cover during callouts


• Weekend Requirements: No weekend shifts required

No floating between units or facilities is required for this position.

• Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an X-Ray Technologist


• Certifications: BLS, ARRT (Radiography), and SCQRSA (Radiography) are required


• Radiation Badge: A radiation badge must be provided by the agency, as the facility does not supply badges for travelers


• Equipment Experience: Fluoroscopy experience is required; C-arm experience is preferred


• Technical Skills: Basic EPIC charting and Sectra PACS documentation experience are required

• Local Radius: Accepting candidates from within a 60-mile radius


• Local Candidates: Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis


• Guaranteed Hours: The facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks


• Block Schedule: Block scheduling may be accommodated upon manager's approval, depending on unit needs

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. This could affect candidates' schedules and assignments, particularly during peak months of August and September.
