Nuclear Medicine Technologist

This position requires a dedicated professional with expertise in nuclear medicine. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services while ensuring patient care and safety.

• Schedule: 8-hour days, Tuesday to Friday


• Hours: 7 AM to 5 PM


• 40 hours/week scheduled, 36 hours guaranteed


• No weekend or on-call requirements

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for conducting diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients as per protocols


• Operating and maintaining nuclear medicine equipment, including GE machines


• Performing venipuncture to draw blood samples


• Documenting patient information and imaging results accurately


• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care


• Adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nuclear medicine experience; CT experience is a plus


• Current New York State license required


• ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification (either accepted)


• Experience with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS is required


• Ability to work in compliance with medical and vaccination requirements


• Candidate must have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle


• Previous travel experience is encouraged

• Non-billable orientation: 8 hours


• Requested time off during the assignment must be noted during the submission process


• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color - no designs or cartoons, and no hoodies
