">Key Responsibilities
">As a travel registered nurse in our progressive care unit, you will be responsible for managing complex care needs, promoting recovery, and facilitating the transition of patients from acute care to home or lower levels of care. You will work collaboratively with therapists, social workers, case managers, and physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans.
">You will assess, plan, and provide nursing care to patients recovering from acute illnesses, surgeries, or injuries. You will administer medications, IV therapies, wound care, and other treatments related to the recovery process.
">Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of complex care needs and the ability to promote recovery are essential.
">A valid RN license in the state of practice, BSN degree, and BLS certification are required. ACLS and/or CRRN certifications are desirable. Experience working in a progressive care unit or similar setting is highly valued.
