What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compounding Pharmacy Technician position at Wellspring Custom Pharmacy and Health Source?
We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to become a part of our team! You will assist in the preparation of compounded medications under the direction of a pharmacist in a rewarding environment that prioritizes patient needs.
Position is currently part-time with a flexible schedule but may transition to full-time in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
- Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
- Process prescriptions using computer software
- Label and record information throughout the compounding and dispensing process
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
- Cleaning as required to meet or exceed USP 795 and USP 800

About the Role
We’re looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician who is detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about helping people. In this role, you'll be part of a supportive, tight-knit team where your contributions truly make a difference. Our technicians must be able to work independently, stay organized, and always keep medication safety and quality top of mind.
Schedule:
4 days per week (Ideally Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) from 10:00am to 5:30pm
A rare Saturday from 9:00am to noon
