Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing & Contracts Consultant to support Marketing and Public Affairs procurement activities with a primary focus on print, mailing, communications, and related supplier engagements. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle from sourcing strategy and contract drafting through negotiation, execution, and stakeholder management.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of coordination between business stakeholders, Legal, Risk, and suppliers, owning engagements from initiation through implementation. This role requires a strong contracts background, the ability to manage numerous competing priorities, and experience operating within a highly regulated banking environment.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts and amendments.
Own the end-to-end sourcing and contracting process from intake through execution.
Manage 50 active contracts and sourcing engagements simultaneously.
Support the development of 20–30 new contracts through year-end.
Lead supplier negotiations, renewals, and competitive sourcing events.
Partner closely with Legal, Risk, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier optimization, and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations, third-party risk requirements, and internal policies.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
2 years of sourcing, procurement, contract management, or vendor management experience.
Banking or financial services experience required.
Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation experience.
Experience managing multiple priorities in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to independently drive projects from initiation through completion.
Experience supporting Marketing, Public Affairs, Brand Management, or Communications organizations. (preferred)
Knowledge of print production, direct mail, fulfillment, or mailing services. (preferred)
MarTech sourcing or vendor management experience. (preferred)
Experience working within large, regulated organizations.
Familiarity with Ariba, RFx processes, supplier management, or contract lifecycle tools. (preferred)
JD degree, CPSM, CPSD, PMP, or similar certification is a plus.
