Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
• Work in Cybersecurity as part of the Data Protection Scanning team, with responsibility for helping to capture any requirements needed for any systems modifications and for new unstructured scanning solutions.
• Support Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) by executing data scanning strategies and coordinating remediation and escalation activities.
• Help provide business expertise to configure and execute data scans.
• Develop and execute User Acceptance test Plans
• Help design entitlements management program that will be integrated into unstructured scanning.
• Collaborate effectively with Information Protection Engineering team members to analyze and validate scan results.
• Collaborate effectively with Information Protection Engineering team members to make recommendations to tune scanning tool.
• Analyze scan results to identify risks or deficiencies, with a focus on identity and access management and data protection.
• Work effectively with owners of data platforms and applications to validate scan results
• Work effectively with owners of data platforms and applications to address their questions with any scan results that are sent to them
• Follow up with owners of data platforms and applications to ensure timely dispositioning of scan results
• Attend key meetings and capture accurate, actionable minutes to ensure alignment and follow-through.
• Support scanning program and general inquiries by researching, triaging, and drafting responses to email and Jira requests.
• Use AI tools for activities such as research, summarization, drafting, analysis, and decision support
• Use AI ethically and responsibly, in alignment with company policies and guidelines
Key Requirements:
· Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
•Governance, risk, and compliance role, with experience in policy adherence monitoring, report development, and escalation.
• Strong understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance principles related to Information Security policies.
• Foundational IAM knowledge with experience analyzing elevated access.
• Experience with AI-based classification and document scanning tools, e.g. MS Purview, Varonis, Securiti.ai.
• Experience with automated workflow tools including Jira and ServiceNow.
• Skills in data automation, ETL processes, and visualization using using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
• Strong documentation skills including design diagrams, process flows, and content writing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables concurrently and influence across organizational levels.
• Demonstrated foundational AI literacy to effectively use approved AI tools to support everyday work
• Familiarity with data privacy, security, and data-handling standards when using AI tools
