Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Change Manager to support high‑impact, enterprise‑level transformation initiatives within Merchant Services. This is a highly visible, senior role requiring strong executive presence, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to lead change across multiple stakeholder groups at all levels of the organization.
This is not a traditional project manager role. While project management experience is welcome, successful candidates must demonstrate deep understanding of formal change management disciplines, comfort managing and coaching others, and a proven ability to influence, communicate, and drive adoption in a highly complex, matrixed environment.
The ideal candidate is proactive, confident, assertive, and solutions‑oriented, with a strong commitment to professionalism, continuous learning, and delivering measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Lead end‑to‑end change management activities across two Merchant Services organizations.
Drive strategy and execution for stakeholder engagement, communications, readiness, and adoption.
Communicate with clarity and precision—verbally, in writing, and through presentations—to senior leaders, cross‑functional teams, and technical partners.
Translate complex information into concise messaging, executive decks, and summaries.
Effectively manage up, across, and with peers, influencing without authority at multiple levels.
Navigate and resolve conflict professionally; facilitate alignment and consensus across differing viewpoints.
Lead, coach, and support others as needed, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing team environment.
Operate with a solutions‑oriented mindset, independently solving problems and anticipating needs without requiring step‑by‑step direction.
Adhere to established processes and governance while remaining approachable, engaging, and professional.
Partner closely with internal teams to support large‑scale transformation initiatives within Merchant Banking (required experience).
Qualifications:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Proven senior‑level change management experience, ideally within financial services, merchant banking, or merchant services.
Demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels, from peers to executives.
Strong executive presence with polished written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Exceptional ability to condense complex messages into fewer words without losing meaning (critical to success in this role).
Clear evidence of driving outcomes through specific actions—candidates must articulate what they personally delivered, not just what should be done.
Experience leading or coaching others.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and anticipate needs.
Professional conflict‑resolution skills; confident and assertive while maintaining respectful dialogue.
Experience supporting merchant banking or merchant services transformation initiatives is non‑negotiable.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including:
PowerPoint – ability to create concise, high‑impact executive‑level decks
Excel
Word
SharePoint experience (site management, document organization, posting communications).
Strong general technology aptitude with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
