Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to support Financial Crimes Risk Management applications. This role combines data analysis, technical writing, and product ownership responsibilities, with a strong focus on reporting, data integrity, and collaboration across business and technology teams.
Responsibilities:
Support Financial Crimes Risk Management applications through:
Daily reporting review and validation
Exception analysis and resolution of data issues
Maintenance of input mappings and system documentation
Perform data analysis, reporting, and visualization, including:
Sourcing and integrating data across multiple business units
Delivering actionable insights and recommendations
Ensuring compliance with data governance standards
Serve as a Product Owner, including:
Defining and documenting business requirements
Collaborating with technology teams on solution delivery
Managing product backlog, priorities, and deliverables
Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing to ensure quality and accuracy of system enhancements
Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Coordinate communication and information flow between business stakeholders and technology teams
Participate in issue evaluation and resolution, providing technology-driven solutions aligned with business needs
Required Qualifications:

Strong technical writing and documentation skills
Solid knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries for analysis and reporting
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams
Experience managing project schedules, deliverables, and priorities
Ability to work effectively in a virtual or distributed team environment
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills
Experience contributing to the development of cost-effective systems, processes, and procedures
Ability to act as an internal consultant, applying process improvement and quality tools to optimize technical workflows
Experience coordinating communication across multiple teams and stakeholders
Prior experience in financial services, preferably within risk management or compliance domains
Previous experience working with Wells Fargo or similar financial institutions
