About The Role

The Drafter is responsible for creating detailed shop drawings and production tickets for custom concrete products using Revit (BIM). This role ensures all drawings are accurate and aligned with project specifications to support efficient manufacturing. The position collaborates closely with engineering, sales, production, and quality teams to ensure product requirements are met.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop shop drawings and production tickets for concrete products using Revit (BIM)
  • Create and review detailed drawings to ensure accuracy and alignment with specifications
  • Collaborate with management to confirm all project details are complete and correct
  • Translate engineering and design requirements into production-ready documentation
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Production, and Quality Control teams
  • Support the build process by ensuring drawings meet manufacturing needs
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation for all projects
  • Follow and uphold company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Communicate effectively to resolve design or production discrepancies
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented drafter with strong technical skills in Revit and a passion for producing accurate, high-quality drawings. They are a collaborative team player who communicates effectively across departments and adapts quickly in a fast-paced environment. This individual is highly organized, proactive, and committed to delivering work that supports efficient and precise production outcomes.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE

  • Associate’s degree in drafting, design, or a related field
  • Proficiency with Autodesk products including AutoCAD, Revit (required), and Rhino
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience in concrete or construction-related industry preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
