Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI & GCP Analytics Consultant to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-scale reporting, analytics, and data engineering solutions. This role will focus on building executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data pipelines, and advanced Statistical Process Control (SPC) monitoring capabilities that drive operational excellence and data-driven decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, GCP data engineering, KPI performance management, and advanced analytics, with the ability to work across business and technology teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Power BI Reporting & Dashboard Development
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions.
Build executive, operational, and strategic reporting frameworks that support data-driven decision-making.
Develop complex data models, semantic layers, KPIs, calculations, and DAX measures.
Create interactive visualizations that highlight trends, risks, performance metrics, and business opportunities.
Optimize dashboard performance, data refresh schedules, and overall user experience.
Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions.
Develop and maintain reporting standards, governance processes, and technical documentation.
GCP Data Ingestion & Data Engineering
Design, build, and optimize scalable data ingestion pipelines within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest data from enterprise applications, APIs, operational systems, and third-party sources.
Utilize BigQuery and cloud-native services to support enterprise analytics initiatives.
Perform data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
Build automated ingestion, monitoring, and alerting capabilities supporting operational and analytical reporting.
Optimize data processing and storage architectures for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
Collaborate with enterprise architecture and platform teams to align solutions with cloud standards and best practices.
KPI Development & Performance Analytics
Partner with business leaders to define, document, and operationalize KPI frameworks.
Develop executive scorecards and operational performance dashboards.
Create leading and lagging indicators to measure:

Establish KPI governance, metric definitions, threshold management, and reporting standards.

Develop and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) reporting for Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) and operational process management programs.
Design and implement SPC dashboards and visualizations, including:

Moving Range Charts
P-Charts
C-Charts
U-Charts
Control Limit Monitoring
Process Capability Analysis
Performance Trend Analysis
Outlier Detection
Variance Analysis
Monitor process stability and identify common-cause and special-cause variation.
Establish automated control-limit monitoring and alerting frameworks.
Support continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and trend identification.
Collaborate with process owners and control teams to assess operational health and control effectiveness.
Advanced Analytics & Insights
Perform trend analysis, forecasting, statistical analysis, and operational assessments.
Identify emerging risks, operational bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
Create executive-level narratives and actionable recommendations supported by data.
Support process intelligence, observability, automation, AI, and analytics initiatives.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and sprint reviews.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions.
3+ years of experience working within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Human-in-the-Loop (HITL), AI Operations, Process Intelligence, Automation, or Digital Transformation programs.
Experience implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement frameworks.
Experience developing KPI scorecards and operational health dashboards.
