Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Digital Product Manager - Product Strategic Initiatives Lead to join the Customer Data Products group within Consumer Data Engagement Platforms (CDEP) as part of Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB). Our vision is to create a 'Know Me' experience for our customers by enabling Wells Fargo products and customer journeys to quickly obtain high-quality customer information. Our product areas introduce new capabilities and modernize legacy platforms to improve customer data quality and enable enterprise agility. The new Product Strategic Initiatives Lead is an individual contributor responsible to provide cross-functional support to the Customer Information Management (CIM) product areas and product teams to ensure solution design aligns to target state architecture.

In this role, you will:
  • Partner with Technology architects, principal engineers and CIM Product Area leaders to drive product strategy forward in alignment with consumer business stakeholder objectives and technology target-state architecture
  • Ensure the right parties are brought into the conversations and aligned on CIM strategic decisions with interdependencies on other business roadmaps (i.e., Consumer Lending, Wealth and Investment Management, Strategy, Digital and Innovation, etc.)
  • Understand and advocate for the overall scope of the CIM product, vision, and outcomes to educate external stakeholders and technology partners in driving to the target state which includes a ten year platform modernization roadmap
  • Partner with CIM Product Area leaders to identify and pursue opportunities and integration points within their domains to align on high-level product architecture and to effectively leverage new features and functions in the modernized platform to support business goals and objectives
  • When new enterprise products impacting customer data and applications are proposed, candidate will represent CIM to review and analyze the change impacts and identify integration points or engagement strategies
  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence digital products, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs across a functional area within the Digital environment
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
  • Coordinate highly complex activities and guidance to others
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise
  • Serve as an expert advisor to leadership
Required Qualifications:
  • 7 years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3 years of experience in one or more of the following functional areas: large enterprise platforms and complex implementations, business technology solutions, or event-driven architecture, with a clear track record of building innovative, customer-facing capabilities
  • 3 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: strategic planning, initiative management, project management, project delivery, digital product/program management
  • 2 years of experience working in data management within a customer domain such as communication methods, relationships, preferences, and identity
Desired Qualifications:
  • Proven success in understanding a technical architecture or platform strategy and ensuring design recommendations adhere to long term vision
  • Experience consulting, influencing and partnering with business executives, product managers, technology partners and peers to reach design recommendations that are highly complex
  • Working understanding of Hogan CIS
  • Understanding of modernized microservices including MongoDB, Kafka, and APIs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while executing on tactical and strategic deliverables to meet timelines
  • Experience with Agile methodology including but not limited to intake, discovery, and prioritization of new work and work in progress within the backlog
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Salary range is determined by location of the job. May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards.
