Wells Fargo is seeking a Pricing Senior Lead Analytics Consultant. This role supports the Auto lending business by providing analytical insights that drive pricing and profitability strategies.
In This Role, You Will
- Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence analytical strategies for highly complex business and technical needs
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques and advanced data from multiple sources across the enterprise
- Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex activities
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise
- Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
- Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
- Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive advantage for Wells Fargo
- Develop, test, analyze and implement strategies to achieve the financial objective relevant to macro-economic conditions
- Work closely with cross functional team (Tech, Product, Risk, Operations) to drive impact on a given product, problem, or initiative
- 7 years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to use imperfect information to solve complex problems and make strategic recommendations
- Experience with scripting languages to develop analytics automation
- Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills based on analytics
- Strong skills using statistical/data science tools such as SAS, R, Python, etc.
- Lead development of visualizations and dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced, demanding environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Ability to develop and integrate statistical and analytical approaches to pricing activities to optimize performance and gain strategic insights
- Proven ability to work effectively across teams and organizational levels to make high-impact decisions and complete challenging assignments
- Strong conceptual thinking and ability to drive clarity in ambiguity while dealing with credit and operational problems
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
