Key Responsibilities:
- Execute MICR Testing
- Receive and process check samples through MICR validation systems
- Perform testing using industry-standard tools to evaluate readability and compliance
- Analyze results to determine pass/fail status based on established standards
- Validate Document Compliance
- Verify MICR line accuracy, including:
- Character spacing and alignment
- Routing and account field positioning
- Evaluate print quality attributes such as:
- Character dimensions and readability
- Magnetic ink strength and signal quality
- Document and Report Results
- Prepare detailed test result summaries and findings
- Identify and classify failure reasons (formatting, optical, magnetic, etc.)
- Provide results to internal teams for review and follow-up
- Support Reporting and Operational Processes
- Assist with recurring reporting
- Maintain testing records and organized documentation
- Follow naming conventions and file management standards
- Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders
- Partner with internal teams (e.g., Relationship Managers, Operations) to share test outcomes
- Support internal discussions regarding testing results and trends
- Participate in team meetings and knowledge transfer sessions

- 2 yrs experience in testing, quality assurance, or operations (banking or document processing preferred)
- 2 yrs banking/financial background/experience
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret technical standards and testing criteria
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and basic reporting tools
- Knowledge of MICR standards and check processing
- Experience with check imaging, scanning, or payment processing systems
- Exposure to operational reporting or data analysis
- Attention to Detail: Ability to detect subtle formatting and print defects
- Analytical Thinking: Evaluate testing outputs and identify root causes (for reporting purposes)
- Communication: Clearly document and communicate findings to stakeholders
