Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Auto Lending Risk team.
In this role, you will:
The individual is responsible for providing strong governance and oversight of Auto Risk audit and exam activities (internal and external). In this role, the Lead Business Execution Consultant is expected to apply strong subject matter knowledge, critical thinking and thought leadership in directing audit, exam, and regulatory support activities such as - identify request ownership, ensure information provided to auditors/examiners is accurate and appropriate and in compliance with information security policies. This individual may also be involved in managing complex processes and projects, and/or serve as a team member on complex projects/initiatives. Responsibilities will also include creating and managing reports which communicate to management overall audit/exam progress, findings and pipeline.

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Auto Lending Risk team.
In this role, you will:
- Lead cross functional team members to respond effectively and on time to audit/exam requests
- Lead internal and external exam engagements with focus on ensuring appropriate accountability and interactions with auditors/examiners
- Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of exam management and regulatory support function for continuous improvement in efficiency and value add
- Perform assessments through fact finding and credible challenge to responding to regulatory requests, and develop appropriate responses
- Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of Auto Risk and Auto LOB functional areas, to facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
- Strategically engage with various levels of professionals and leadership across first line of defense (Auto LOB), second line of defense (Corporate Risk), and third line of defense (internal audit groups)
- Analyze internal and external exam findings/results to identify themes, trends, and risks
- 5 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of auto lending practices, policies, and procedures
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project) skills
- Possess high degree of adaptability and tolerance for ambiguity
- Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
- Strong emotional intelligence with ability to bridge different personalities, styles and work approaches
- Prior experience in risk management with a focus on audit/exam management, dealing with areas such as initiatives, strategic planning, project management
- Demonstrated experience partnering across various groups, and levels of leadership
- Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet risk needs
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
- Ability to influence executive decision-making and successfully negotiate critical issue resolution related to program initiatives
- Experience providing support for regulatory activities
- PMP/Six Sigma/Agile Certification

- Lead end to end execution of audit/exam management activities
- Work to obtain support of exam requests, to influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo Auto and Corporate Risk strategies/policies
- Drive teams to develop detailed action plans to meet committed deliverables and timelines, in alignment with milestones and overall initiative plan requirements
- Execute initiative management processes and deliverables, including project tracking, internal reporting, and Board, Enterprise, and regulator reporting
- Partner with variety of stakeholders at various levels within Wells Fargo to socialize status, escalate issues and drive decisions needed
- Interface with senior leaders across the Enterprise, Corporate, and Auto as well as, regulators and internal auditors
