Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring and RESTful APIs
- Build and support Angular (modern versions) front-end applications
- Develop and maintain Python and PySpark pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and analytics
- Implement integrations with object storage platforms using S3-compatible APIs
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries across relational databases
- Support data loading, validation, and processing workflows involving NetApp-backed object storage
- Collaborate closely with engineering, data, and platform teams to meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise standards for security, performance, scalability, and operational readiness
- Participate in production support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning as needed

- Java full stack development experience in production environments
- Java with Spring framework and REST services
- Angular (modern versions) for front-end development
- Python development experience for data processing and automation
- PySpark / Apache Spark experience with production workloads (academic-only experience is not sufficient)
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and performance tuning
- Experience working with relational databases (vendor-agnostic)
- Solid understanding of object storage concepts, including:
- S3 protocol
- Buckets, lifecycle management, and access patterns
- Experience loading data into or integrating with NetApp object storage (highly preferred)
- Distributed data processing in enterprise-scale environments (highly preferred)
- Design and implementation of data ingestion, ETL, and ELT pipelines (highly preferred)
